About Us:
The Jr Mounties will based out of the historic Adelard Arena in Woonsocket, RI. The program has no affiliation with any previous or current local programs and will be forming all brand new teams for this upcoming season. The program's goal is to build on the Mount St Charles Academy legacy while offering great coaching, high end player development, and competitive hockey at all youth levels.

A few highlights that makes our program different:
League Affiliation: The Jr. Mounties' program will compete in the Tier 1 Hockey Federation (THF) and Atlantic Hockey Federation (AHF) in the 2026-2027 season.

‍The Tier 1 Hockey Federation (THF) is a USA Hockey–sanctioned Tier I youth hockey league that provides a highly competitive environment for elite clubs nationwide. The league features an unbalanced schedule designed to ensure top-level competition and includes over 200 AAA teams spanning the 9U–18U age levels. A key advantage of the THF is its ability to bring together elite organizations from multiple states and leagues, offering players regular exposure to high-end competition.

First Class Coaching: We pride ourselves in providing the best coaching in the region. Our staff consists of coaches that are former college and professional hockey players with extensive playing and coaching backgrounds. Most of our staff are non-parent coaches and they will deliver an experience like no other with the ultimate goal of developing well rounded hockey players and people. Program Offering: Our program offers the most affordable development model in the region. Our teams will practice 2x/week, in addition skills and goalie training 2xmonth. Our tuition includes 4 tournaments. For more information about our program levels please visit the “2026/27 Program" page.

Tryout season is a time for parents to make decisions based on what is best for their child. It is important to do your research and any avoid rumors.
